Adidas ZX 7000/ ZX 8000 / ZX 9000
The Adidas ZX 8000 / ZX 9000 was a revolutionary for running shoe technology. They were the first shoes to use Adidas’ Torsion technology, which supported the midfoot and allowed for greater movement. This made for a very light running shoe. In 2003, leather editions of the Adidas ZX 8000 / ZX 9000 were released. Now, Adidas has plans to drop their ZX sequential series in several fresh and interesting colorways. The Torsion-implementing series will be offered up in three styles, the ZX 7000, ZX 8000 and the ZX 9000, and each of the mesh-heavy, once-technical runners feature their own unique colorway geared for casual wear, from the blue and beige tones of the ZX 7000 to hues of blues and greens along the ZX 8000 to the Easter-friendly ZX 9000.
