Betsey Johnson1
Betsey grew in the states of Connecticut of America. When she was very young, she learnt cutting and then she went into art institute to learn to paint and sculpture . She said this course was better than any fashion courses. With her in the talent, Betsey got the opportunity in 1964 from American journal Mademoiselle and got an award. Smart Betsey quickly grasp this opportunity.
Soon she was independent, Betsey opened “Betsey Bunky Nini” boutique. In 1972 she won Copy award, becoming the youngest designer who won the award. In 1978, Betsey with model Chantal opened up Betsey Johnson series which was very successful. This series work were main designed by Betsey. For the design, Betsey often work very late for liking this job. Today, Betesy worked with her daughter Lulu, although their fashion styles are quite different, this does not affect their cooperation.
The dress designed by Betsey is usually very fashion and full of the feeling of American girl. But it doesn’t let the person tired. Her design is America, sissy and theatrical which is particularly welcomed among American women. The design of Betsey has little noble, but it is very special, very young. This is perhaps the most prestigious master wouldn’t do that.
